Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Mathew 28:19-20
Here at The Vine, we believe that global outreach plays an integral role in supporting our vision to become a Wildfire of Grace that ignites other fires in our community, North Georgia, and Beyond.
Below is a list of our current programs and partners with ideas on how you can take the next step to serve our global community.
The Mission of our Short Term Missions (STEMS) is to see the kingdom of God advance by effective cross-cultural ministry, growing relationships with our global partners, and the spiritual growth of our teams. Our trips are shaped by the partners we have across the globe and our hope is to be an encouragement and support to their ministries. We also know that these trips can change us as they help remove us from our normal routines and distractions that tend to prevent us from moving toward a deeper dependence on Christ. Concurrently we get to experience true community with each other and see God’s heart for the poor and the world.
Café 1040 is a missions mentoring program for young adults interested in becoming full-time missionaries to unreached people groups.
CMM is a Church planting network that coaches and supports church planters all over the globe.
Tom Wood is the director of CMM and a member at The Vine. If you have interest in CMM, visit their website at cmm.gci.org and get to know Tom and his heart for the ministry God has called him to. Pray for CMM and the crucial work the Lord is doing through them to plant churches and make disciples around the world.
Former Vine members Trey and Kiki Adams are serving with MTW (Mission to the World) in Thailand to plant a church.
To learn more about their ministry, follow them on Facebook HERE. Also there is no better way to connect with Trey and Kiki than to go experience their ministry yourself so consider signing up for our STEMS trey to Thailand. Lastly, pray for Trey and Kiki’s ministry in a place where many people have not heard the Gospel.
Since 2008, The Vine has been integrally involved with this children’s home of 20+ kids in Nairobi, Kenya. The director, Sarah Fanjo, lived in the Atlanta area for a few years and attended The Vine during this time.
We take a short term mission trip to Kenya every year. There is no better way to connect with the Children’s Home of Light than to go experience their ministry yourself. Pray for Sarah and the leadership at the Children’s Home of Light as well as for the children. Consider becoming a financial supporter of the home. For more detailed information on the Children’s Home of Light Orphanage and ways you can be involved and stay informed, e-mail Alyson Young firstname.lastname@example.org.
Alex and Holly Compton began Amor Real Ministries in 2016 to champion the cause of Pat’s Place and raise up a ministry of excellence in this place. In order to do that, they have an operating budget of approximately $60,000 per year and depend on the financial support of churches, other organizations, individual supporters and the like. Please consider assisting financially to help transform the lives of these women and their children. For more information about Amor Real Ministries and Pat’s Place, please visit their website at www.amorrealministries.com.
