God is self-existent, self-sufficient, eternal, immutable, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, sovereign, infinite, and incomprehensible.

We’re not.

And that’s a good thing.

Our limitations are by design. We were never meant to be God. But at the root of every sin is our rebellious desire to possess attributes that belong to God alone. Calling us to embrace our limits as a means of glorifying God’s limitless power, Jen Wilkin invites us to celebrate the freedom that comes when we rest in letting God be God.

The mission for the Vine Women is to love God through the study of His Word, love each other through fellowship and love the community through service to women and children in Cumming.

Wednesday Women During the school year on Wednesdays, The Vine offers a variety of groups geared towards empowering women spiritually through various studies and discussions. To accommodate different schedules, there is a morning session from 9:30 to 11:30 and an evening session from 7:00 to 8:30. Childcare is available for only the morning session.

Happy to Help If you are gifted with a knack for hospitality and a love of serving, you may enjoy joining a team of women who help in behind-the-scenes ways. From ensuring the coffee is ready for Women’s Bible Study to planning, preparing, and setting out food for leadership meetings, this is a way to directly serve those with whom you share fellowship. The goal is to gain enough members so that teams are called upon only once per quarter. For more information, e-mail Ioli Airy at admin@thevinecommunitychurch.com

Meals Ministry Cooking becomes an impossible thought when a family is dealing with something serious. Whatever current obstacle a family faces, the Meals Ministries makes sure food is taken off the list of worries by preparing meals in advance (or as needed) for delivery to these families. If you enjoy cooking as a way to extend grace, please consider contacting Kari Fredrick at kari.fredrick.22@gmail.com
