The groups are study based and generally last somewhere between 6-12 weeks. Study groups are a great opportunity to connect with others and to grow in a specific area related to the study. These groups may be Women’s Groups, Men’s Groups or Mixed Groups and will meet at various times throughout the week including Sunday morning.
Women at The Vine have a unique opportunity on Wednesday mornings as several Women’s Study Groups meet at the same time (9:30 am) with childcare provided.

A Child of God for His Glory
A Child of God for His Glory – 12 Weeks
The popular Christian song entitled “I Am Who You Say I Am” encourages us to look to our Maker and His promises in order to determine our identity as Christ-followers. But how do we negotiate the differences between who God’s Word says we are and how we view ourselves? Who are we becoming as we grow in Christ? Why is knowing these things important? Led by Karen Roberts.
Sonship – 12 Weeks
“Cheer up! You are worse than you think! Cheer up! You are more loved than you could ever imagine!” Live the Theology You Believe! Many of us understand faith intellectually, but our hearts have not quite kept up with our heads. Sonship is designed to help you take some of the glorious theological truths of the gospel you may know in your head and apply them to the nitty-gritty reality of daily life. You’ll find that as the gospel remakes you, there is greater joy and desire to share the wonderful news of God’s loving-kindness with others. This course challenges participants to take basic gospel truth and apply it deeply to their lives through the book of Galatians. Led by Angela Crossland. Please order the Sonship Manual on Amazon or Christianbooks.com. Bring manual to the 1st class.

Out of nowhere, death, illness, unemployment, or a difficult relationship can change our lives and challenge everything we thought we knew—leaving us feeling unable to cope. Weaving together his personal story, pastoral experience and biblical insights, Paul Tripp helps readers learn to trust God in the midst of suffering. This raw yet hope-filled book will help you cling to God’s promises when trials come, that you may learn to move forward with the hope of the Gospel. Led By Sherrie Coffey.

Gospel Training for Women
The purpose of Gospel Training is to introduce key discipleship concepts and to help our congregation learn more about flourishing in God’s grace and bearing fruit as we engage in the 3 Loves. While discipleship is a life-long process, this Gospel Training provides twenty-three lessons spread out over seven to eight months. Our desire is to see people intentionally apply the gospel to their life through Gospel Training. We also desire to equip others to be deployed in the Vision and culture of The Vine. We hope that the relationships built in Gospel Training will last many years.
- Groups are run in a relational context
- Comprised of our gospel-centered Vision, Mission and Values
- Purpose is to train leaders and future leaders of The Vine, equipping them to understand the gospel and how to apply it in their lives and the leadership of others
