Our mission in The Vine Youth is that we desire students to know and encounter God that they might love God and one another.
We believe God has called us to fulfill this mission by nurturing Christ-centered relationships to focus on discipleship while engaging in prayer, God’s word through teaching, and worship through music. We believe this is how our students are equipped to love and disciple others.
What to expect?
On Sunday night, High School students meet for D-Groups at 7 pm while Middle School students meet for youth group at 7 pm.
On Wednesday night, High School students meet for youth group at 7 pm while Middle School students meet for D-Groups at 7pm.
Discipleship Group (D-Group) night begins with a short, large group gathering (15 minutes) to set up discussion for breaking into gender/age specific small groups (1 hour).
Both Youth Group nights start out with games to break the ice. Then during high school nights, the students lead music in worship. At the end of both nights, we pray and all open our Bibles to study God’s word through the teaching time.
On Sunday morning, Middle School students are invited to meet for Vivid, a Bible study and prayer time, where their requests are prayed for by name, and they are encouraged and taught to apply God’s Word to their lives. Boys (1st and 3rd Sundays) and Girls (2nd and 4th Sundays) alternate weeks and meet in the Church office conference room during the 10:45 am service.
