The Vine’s What’s Next ministry will invest in 50+ers by equipping and encouraging them for purposeful ministry.

Why – What’s Next?

The Bible is clear about those of us that are getting older.

So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come.
Psalm 71:18 (ESV)

They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green . . .
Psalm 92:14 (ESV)

And, as we get older, many of us consider these questions:

1) Can I retire? Should I retire?
2) What do I do when retired?
3) What will occupy my time, in retirement? Or, how can I make the most of my time, now that I am not working full-time?

As said in Jeff Haanan’s book, An Uncommon Guide to Retirement: God doesn’t intend for work to completely stop, but instead to morph and mature in age. Retirement may be just the opportunity to reassess these foundations of a fruitful life.

We may refer to those that are close to retirement age, or at retirement age, to be in their third-third of life.

Here, at The Vine, our desire is for All Believers to find opportunity to flourish in this third-third. Our desire is to provide you with the tools and resources to flourish.

Begin with the end in mind: you are valued by God; your gifts and experiences matter; invite God to show you His purpose.
